" A Hybrid-Conservative BNP in a Bloody Suit"

Wondered when this was going to start but I'm left in two minds about Mr Farage's encounter with opponents in Edinburgh yesterday. On the one hand I have come to truly despise the politically-correct bigotry and conceited intolerance of the left. Yet on the other I feel it's about time UKIP got some of the treatment we have had to put up with for decades. Let's see how they stand up to it.

Maybe then the police might actually make an effort to protect our democratic system from Marxist thugs like this. We could of course abuse Labour politicians in the same way but there again we don't need to shout down and intimidate opponents to undermine their argument. They are more than capable of this by themselves.

Wonder why the guy who shouted "go back to England" was not arrested? He was clearly in breach of racially aggravated harassment (Section 32(1)(a) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998) or racially aggravated harassment, alarm or distress (Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986). Imagine one of us telling Keith Vaz to go back to Yemen.
