Good Friday

The Guardian has no right to start complaining about disproportionate media coverage in London's mayoral contest, but in championing the independent candidate it shows us that they too believe that Red Ken is a dead duck.

Meanwhile, it now emerges that Labour's spin doctors in London are putting out communications blatantly inciting people to orchestrate Twitter campaigns, parrot-fashion, in an attempt to falsify and poison public opinion. The communications to "engage on Twitter" are emanating from Tom Copley, Digital Campaigns Coordinator, Ken Livingstone For London.

Looking to the future, with MPs stepping down to contest Mayor & Police Commissioner elections in November,  at least two parliamentary by-elections should take place on November 15. With the Baghdad West election fresh in their minds Labour are secretly petrified of a similar Muslim uprising in Birmingham Hodge Hill should Liam Byrne step down. Manchester Central presents differing circumstances, but both contests will contain an additional problem for the masters of deceit.
