Slumdog City

Here's the link to BBC iPlayer where 17 minutes 21secs in you'll find yesterday's News at Six report on Asian corruption and slavery in London.

Congratulations to the BBC for actually broadcasting this, however it would have been much more effective had they taken a satirical approach. For the next of the two reports why not give it the usual BBC treatment with descriptions such as "enriching", "vibrant" and a "celebration of modern multicultural London". Perhaps they could finish of the package with a reference to the "racist Luddites" who would want to put a stop to the "progressive, entrepreneurial and flourishing business."

Maybe the next time the BBC shows Asian shopkeepers moaning about young, unemployed black people looting their shops perhaps they should be looking closer to home, a lot closer in fact.
