Messing around with my weather software this afternoon I've finally found the reason for wind gust speed errors. Adjusting the sampling rate from 20 to 100 has solved a very annoying, little problem that has been plaguing me for weeks. Of course, you didn't come here for that and would much prefer some more photos from Lancashire yesterday.
