There's a report on our demonstration in Tyneside, which took place on Tuesday, in the South Shield Gazette. As for the event itself, it certainly succeeded in getting our message across. However, the newspaper has given us another unexpected bonus in that it has just demonstrated to its readership exactly one of the points we were trying to make.
You can see the article online here, but the most important bit I'm replicating below. People seeing this astonishing outburst will instantly realise that this newspaper cannot be trusted to offer any reasoned and unbiased political coverage to the area at all.
Gazette editor John Szymanski said: “The Gazette has continued to inform the South Tyneside public about the Monkey blog and efforts to unmask its author.
“We have carried in-depth and extensive coverage both in the newspaper and online about the fight to stop this blog in its tracks.
“This ludicrous publicity stunt by the BNP shows what a clearly ill-informed and misguided party it really is. Thankfully, the BNP holds little sway in South Tyneside and has very little influence with its nonsensical claims and extremist rantings.”

Indeed so extreme are we that this very morning the Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith has "recycled" our plea to businesses to take on jobless British youths - rather than migrant workers. What aspect of policy they will steal from the BNP next?More to the point, why has they allowed the country to become an economic migrant's Disneyland in the first place?
