Australian Delicacy?



Still working my way through this week´s Strasbourg Plenary, fuelled, as you can see by spicy budgerigar wings and chips. Actually, they were not derived from the popular Australian import, but judging by the size, you might have thought so.

Meanwhile on the European Parliament´s menu for tomorrow we find the following. That may look rather innocuous but the devil in the detail reveals attempts to open up our NHS to Eastern european healthcare tourists and 24 month work visas for migrants from Papua New Guinea. You couldn´t make it up, you really couldn´t.
